No, with the special online offer you have free entry to the auction. We do normally charge a €100 entry fee so it’s important to add your details here so we know you’re part of the online offer.We do normally charge €100.

We charge on a sliding scale based on the value of the car, the full schedule of fees is listed at the bottom of this page.

A reserve price is the minimum amount you want to sell your car for, the car will not be sold for less than this amount. If you are unsure of the value of your car, a member of the sales team can discuss this with you.

Of course, as part of the special offer we will collect any car within a 50 km range free of charge. If your car is further away than that we can discuss that with you but we will do our best and be as fair as possible.

You will need to have all of your documentation ready, that is your current NCT disc, tax disc and your Vehicle Licensing Cert (VLC), sometimes referred to as the logbook and of course any service history documentation if you have it. When you have added your name to book in, we will email you a “auction entry form” to fill in the full details about your car, a copy of which can be downloaded here entry form.

Ideally we’d like to have the car there three days ahead of the auction to give us an opportunity to put it into our catalog and promote it to our buyers. The more time we have the better the chance of maximising the bids.

Of course, all sellers are welcome to attend the auction on the day. You may even see something you like to buy yourself!

We allow three working days for the bidder to settle his purchase in full, you are then paid on the fifth day minus the sellers fees.

If the car doesn’t reach it’s reserve price on the day of the auction, we will make contact with you by phone and explain to you what the highest bid was. At that point it is up to you to take the highest bid or let it go to the next auction or take the car back.

You can always let it go to the next auction, generally if the car is priced correctly and it’s unreasonable condition it should sell at the first auction.

All car finance must be settled when the car is being paid for. For clarity if the car sells for €10,000 and you have €5000 finance to pay the 5000 is paid to the finance company and the remaining 5000 is paid directly to the seller. This ensures the buyer is getting the car free of Finance.

All cars are checked with MotorCheck before they go into the auction, if your car has been previously written off it will be highlighted to the bidders on the day. We are legally obliged to give the bidders all of the background details about the car. Your car will still sell even if it’s been previously written off but obviously the price will be reflected.
